About Daniel Wald

Daniel was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. From an early age, after witnessing the death process of a family member, he became quietly haunted by questions about life, death, and the universe. He often found himself in dialogue with the unseen, sensing there was a much bigger picture than what was being presented to him. On one hand, this created emotional and physical challenges, but it also began a profound unfolding — a path toward healing and awakening.

Over the past 25 years, Daniel has spent much of his life in Europe — working in the corporate world, playing music, and exploring spirituality. His corporate career took him around the globe, meeting people from many cultures and backgrounds. Even in that world, he was more drawn to the inner wisdom of his peers than to their professional identities. Along the way, he encountered a range of healing arts and studied with various awakening teachers, deepening his spiritual practice.

In 2009, Daniel “re-met” a long-time dear friend in what they both describe as a cosmic event. Shortly after, they married and their daughter was born. Around that same time, they discovered VortexHealing® and immersed themselves in classes, practice, and healing. For Daniel, it felt like coming home — nothing had ever penetrated as deeply or felt as true as VortexHealing®, and he dove in completely.

In 2016, when Ric Weinman, founder of the VortexHealing® lineage, spoke to him about the possibility of becoming a teacher, it felt as though his life calling had just tapped him on the shoulder.

Daniel has an innate ability to connect with people and to bridge the magic of transformation in a grounded and authentic way — powerfully supporting others on their own healing and awakening paths.

He currently lives in the Netherlands with his wife and daughter and spends extended periods in Australia. Daniel facilitates VortexHealing® classes for students across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and also offers regular global group healing events.

About VortexHealing®

The Merlin linage is the historical line of teachers and students that have learned VortexHealing from the Divine Expression that calls itself Merlin. The philosophy of VortexHealing is that all of life is One (One Source, One Consciousness, One Divinity), expressing Itself as this amazing experience of creation. But because we have lost the awareness of that, our basic experience of life has become one of separation. We experience ourselves as a particular being that is essentially separate from everything else in creation and separate from the Universal Source of creation. This creates all kinds of issues and false identities, which over time (and lives) imprint and condition every level of our human system—our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and even our sense of spirituality. The web of this conditioning is incredibly, almost unimaginably deep, existing on multi-dimensional levels, and it completely distorts our experience of being human. In addition to creating a myriad of emotional issues, it also creates blockages in our human energy system, which generate weakness and physical disease. The intent of VortexHealing is to release this conditioning on every level it is found, returning the person to emotional balance and energetic strength, so that health prevails.

But the goal of VortexHealing is also much larger than this, because deeper healing requires a return to wholeness. And wholeness requires a return to the awareness of what we are, an awakening out of our root experience of separation into the experience of our true being. So, the Divine Source of VortexHealing designed it to facilitate this kind of awakening. As a result, whether studying or receiving VortexHealing, a process is engaged—a kind of spiritual acceleration process—in which participants begin to awaken out of their conditioned webs of reality and identity. Although the healing tools of VortexHealing are designed to generate physical and emotional health (and they do so fantastically), on a deeper level they also engage a process with the Divine that facilitates the deepest movement of healing that is possible, which is this kind of inner awakening to the freedom and Oneness that is our true nature.

What is a Divine Healing Art?
It is one that is derived solely from Divine energy and consciousness, and where the Divine Source for that healing art is guiding the movement of that energy and consciousness. The Divine is the Transcendent, Immanent, and Utterly Unfathomable Source of All, but also has pure Expressions of Itself that can act as a Source for various kinds of lineages, whether spiritual, religious, or a healing/awakening lineage such asVortexHealing. How Deeply Can VortexHealing® Work?
In VortexHealing, the ability to heal with the source energy of its lineage is given by direct consciousness transmission, where the Divine source of the lineage transmits all that is needed for practicing VortexHealing directly into the student’s consciousness. This includes a movement that evolves and accelerates the healer’s energy system and consciousness, to enable it to be a better vehicle for the Divine work that is coming through it. With each level of class, there is a deeper and deeper bridging of the Divine through the healer’s system, enabling the healer to work deeper and deeper. At just the Basic level, using 49 forms of Vortex energy and a divine healing realm, the meridian system can be cleared and harmonized, ‘karma knots’—which are a core support for karmic & emotional issues—can be cleared, and deep clearings can be done through the various energetic bodies, chakras and physical tissues. After the second class, the healer is able to bridge deeply enough into physicality to transform, for example, the sound of musical instruments, improving their sound quality—in less than a minute. What is the Significance of Spiritual Awakening?
Our experience is that we are a localized, personal, separate self—a particular ‘I’, a particular ego. This gives rise to a sense of me and mine, and to a deep sense of lack and a fear of annihilation. It is the basis for all our struggles, needs, conflicts and fears— for all of our emotional pain and suffering. On an emotional level, healing can only go so deep as long as the ego, which is the foundation for all that pain and suffering— and actually uses that to define itself—continues as it was. All our pain and suffering, all of our conflicts and experiences of struggle—it is all filled with I-consciousness. Spiritual awakening is what heals us of the trance of being this individual ego. Spiritual awakening, therefore, creates the opening and possibility for us to finally and fully unhook from our issues. Instead of living from the pain and suffering of a separate someone that is struggling through life, we finally have the possibility to live from freedom. How can VortexHealing® Facilitate Spiritual Awakening?

Although spiritual awakening sometimes seems to happen spontaneously, it never happens unless there has been sufficient ‘ripening’ first. Because the divine intention for the VortexHealing lineage is to facilitate spiritual awakening, the Divine source of the lineage generates this ripening continuously during VortexHealing classes and whenever VortexHealing is being channeled—whether for oneself or someone else. Working in the background in this way, the Divine source of the lineage ensures that by a certain level of class, students have become sufficiently ripe to have their first awakening movements in the Core Veil and Root of Liberation class.

How was VortexHealing® Discovered?
VortexHealing is an ancient healing art that had become lost and was then recovered and further developed. The modern re-founder of VortexHealing is Ric Weinman, who recovered VortexHealing (in 1994) when Merlin ‘intervened’ in Ric’s life, generating a transcendent experience that re-awakened Ric’s memory of having studied this Divine healing art in two past lives, so that it could be re-manifested at this time.
